Join the Legendary Ingramettes for a Soul Food Dinner in Graceland Inn. Christine Ingram-Murphy, former member of the Ingramettes and current member of the 2018-2019 class of Master Artists in the Virginia Folklife Apprenticeship Program, is a master of soul food cooking, w/ an emphasis on healthy traditional soul food dishes. The menu will feature turkey, purple cabbage and green cabbage, macaroni and cheese, black eyed peas, rice, candied carrots, cornbread, chocolate cake, sweet potato pie and pound cake. The Legendary Ingramettes will be on hand and the Northern Kentucky Brotherhood will drop in! Dinner tickets are $20 per person and seating is limited. And, join us on Sunday at 2 p.m. for their amazing concert – The Legendary Ingramettes & The Northern Kentucky Brotherhood Master of American Gospel concert. Concert tickets – $14.

Join us for The Lift Me Up! Masters of American Gospel concert featuring The Legendary Ingramettes and the Northern Kentucky Brotherhood Singers. The concert will begin at 2 p.m. in Harper McNeeley Auditorium in the Myles Center for the Arts on the campus of Davis & Elkins College.

The roof-raising sounds of traditional American gospel will be celebrated in commanding, spirit-filled performances by these two sensational grassroots ensembles that demonstrate both the diversity of expression and the extraordinary depth of talent in American gospel music. Backed by their sizzling band, the Legendary Ingramettes reign as one of Virginia’s premier traditional gospel ensembles. The Brotherhood Singers are among the nation’s foremost practitioners of the venerable art of unaccompanied gospel harmony singing.
